Young leaders have a rare opportunity to learn “weaving,” which is the process of tying people, initiatives, and locations together to create learning ecosystems that are uplifting, through the Weavership Residency Host Grant 2025.
A 10-month capacity-building program, the YxY Weavership Fellowship is intended for young people who organize and effect change in their communities. Over the course of a 4- to 6-month residency, participants will use their weaving abilities locally or internationally. Weaving Lab, an internationally renowned community of practice promoting educational transformation, is collaborating with this endeavor.
Participants in this fellowship will become more self-aware, cultivate relationships across generations and cultures, and inspire communities to bring about systemic change. Fellows will have a thorough understanding of weaving as a means of bringing about social change by the program’s conclusion.
