The KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship 2025–2026 provides complete funding for overseas students from underdeveloped countries to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degrees in Indonesian universities. This scholarship program seeks to promote the development and extension of human resources in poor countries. The Kemitraan Negara Berkembang Scholarship is intended to improve people-to-people ties between Indonesia and the receiving countries.
The KNB Scholarships 2025 program allows overseas students to study at prominent Indonesian universities while living in one of the world’s most active and diverse communities. The complete scholarship program will select 222 participants, including 30 bachelor, 162 master, and 30 doctoral students. Receiving the grant will enable students to enroll in high-quality degree programs at the 31 partner universities.

KNG Scholarship Program Duration
- One-year course in Indonesian.

Benefits of the KNB Scholarship Program in Indonesia
- The entire cost of tuition will be paid.
- There will be a living allowance given.
- Additionally, BIPA, or Indonesian, will be taught.
- There will be round-trip economy tickets available.
- There will be health insurance available.
- A stipend for books and research will be given each month.
- After graduating, students will have a research publication.
- Upon arrival in Indonesia, students will also receive a settlement allowance.
Eligibility Criteria
- The maximum age for a bachelor’s degree is 21, 35 for a master’s degree, and 40 for a doctorate.
- Applicants should not have a bachelor’s degree already.
- Candidates should not hold a Master’s degree prior to applying for one.
- Candidates seeking a doctoral degree should not already hold one.
- Candidates must have taken an English proficiency test within the last two years (if from a non-English-speaking country). Students from English-speaking nations and those participating in English-taught programs are exempt, but they must show an official university letter stating that the program is in English.
- Participants must have all of the required documentation listed below.
- All documentation should be in either English or Bahasa.

- Submit Required Documents:
- Letter of Offering.
- Copy of one’s passport.
- English Proficiency Test Results (for non-English-speaking nations).
- Letter of recommendation from the Indonesian embassy.
- A letter of recommendation from your job or direct supervisor.
- Academic certificates, transcripts, and a reference from a research supervisor (for doctorate candidates).
- Fill out the online application on the KNB website.
- The KNB Scholarship website and Indonesian Publication Network will announce the selection results online.
