Benefits of the Group of Brazilian Universities Scholarships:
Each selected candidate will receive the following benefits:
- A monthly stipend to cover living costs for the duration of the programme.
- Exemption from paying academic, tuition, and enrollment costs.
- Scholarship applications are available at no cost.
There are 400 scholarships available for OSC Member States / (See OSC Members).
Students from OSC member states who will be awarded GCUB scholarships. For flights, overseas medical insurance, visa processing fees, and other personal expenditures not reimbursed by GCUB’s affiliated colleges, the OSC will pay up to USD 1,500 per student.
Necessary Requirements of the GCUB Scholarship:
- Citizens of Brazil are not eligible.
- Fill out the application completely and send it in Spanish, French, Portuguese, or English.
- The scholarship is available to nationals of every country that has diplomatic ties with Brazil.
- The scholarship does not cover health insurance, airfare, or visa processing.
- Submit the educational documents.
- A candidate may submit applications to five different universities for master’s or doctoral programmes.

- CV
- A copy of your passport or any other proof of identity.
- A copy of each and every prior degree, diploma, transcript, and certificate of education.
- Send in an essay using the structure provided:
- Font: Times New Roman
- Size 12;
- Line spacing of 1.5 cm and margins (top, bottom, right, and left) of 2.5 cm
The successful applicants’ list will be made public later this year, on September 25, 2024. The scholarship will commence in 2025.
