International students can apply for a substantial scholarship programme offered by Jiangsu Provincial Government and Jiangsu University for the year 2024–2025. The Fully Funded Scholarship programme in China is open to all international students. Foreign students can apply for the prize to pursue a Chinese bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD.
One of the oldest universities in China, Jiangsu University was founded as Sanjiang Normal College in 1902. It was established by combining Zhenjiang Teachers’ College, Zhenjiang Medical College, and the former Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. The Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship 2024–2025 is available to students globally in two categories: fully funded and partially funded. Below is information on these scholarships:
Type 1. Scholarships for Bachelor Programs
- Coverage: 10,000 CNY for the first year only
- Recipients: New students from the following new programmes: corporate finance, electronic commerce, and material science and engineering.
Type 2. Scholarships for Masters Students
Type 2 A
- Coverage: CNY 25,000
- Recipients:
Masters students in the following categories are eligible to apply for the scholarship:
- Excellent JSU students continually pursuing their master’s and bachelor’s degrees.
- Applicants recommended by the “Belt and Road” Cooperative Universities.
- Graduate candidates from the top 1,000 universities globally (as determined by four globally renowned university rating systems: US News & World Report, QS, THE, and ARWU).
- Top 1% of ESI or graduates from the “First-class Disciplines” programme are also eligible, as are those with graduate degrees from “First-Class Universities” in China.
Type 2 B:
- Coverage: 20,000 CNY.
- Recipients: Additional accepted master candidates.
Type 3. Scholarships for PhD Applicants
Type A
- Coverage includes living allowance (CNY 5,000), accommodation fee (CNY 5,000), and tuition.
- Recipients:
The following categories are eligible to apply for the PhD scholarship:
- Excellent JSU students continue learning, pursuing master’s and doctorate degrees.
- Candidates recommended by the “Belt and Road” Cooperative Universities.
- Graduate candidates from the world’s top 1000 universities (as determined by four widely accepted university rating systems: US News & World Report, QS, THE, and ARWU).
- Applicants for Graduate Studies from “First-class Universities” in China; either top 1% of ESI or graduates of the “First-class Disciplines” programme.
Type B
Coverage: Accommodation Fee (CNY 5,000) and Tuition
Recipients: Additional accepted PhD Applicants.
Required Documents for Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship 2024:
- Transcript of Degree (Notarized English translation, if appropriate).
- Valid copy of passport
- Degree Certificate (if necessary, with a notarized English translation).
- Certificate of English language proficiency (non-English speaking countries).
- HSK-4 certification (for programmes in Chinese medium).
