Eligibility Criteria
- Chinese citizenship is not acceptable for applicants.
- Candidates should speak Chinese or English fluently.
- For the Master’s program, candidates must have been born after January 1, 1995.
- For the PhD program, candidates must have been born after January 1, 1990.
- For foreign admission, all applicants must meet USTC/UCAS standards.
- Applicants are prohibited from taking on extra responsibilities during the scholarship period.
- Students enrolling in master’s studies at any Chinese university are not eligible for this master’s scholarship program.
- Students seeking doctoral degrees at any Chinese university are not eligible to apply for this PhD fellowship program.
- All grantees are required to complete the standardized training in Chinese language and culture as well as the relevant courses.
